Just stoppin’ by to to say “hi” and remind everyone to get their applications for Summer Company in ASAP! The official deadline is May 24th @ 11:59 pm but really, you wanna get them in soon so Diana Martinez [you can reach her @ (613) 580-2424 ext 22704 or dmartinez@ocri.ca ] has a chance to read everything over and make sure you’re all set for a summer of makin’ money and being da BOSS!

Welcome to Summer Company, an exciting opportunity for enterprising students, 15 to 29 years old, to start and run their own summer businesses.
As a Summer Company entrepreneur, you’ll receive hands-on business coaching and mentoring from local community business leaders who will help make your Summer Company a success. Who knows, it could be the start of something big.
If your application is accepted, you will be eligible to receive up to $1,500 to put toward start-up costs and up to $1,500 upon successful completion of the program. View Summer Company guidelines for more detailed information.
Steps to apply
- Check your eligibility and then choose a nearby program provider to assist you.
- Prepare your Summer Company Business Plan.
- View a sample Cash Flow Forecast.
- Submit your application online.
- Once you have started the application process, click here to access your Summer Company login

Summer Company’s popularity gains strength each year as Ontario’s innovative and entrepreneurial youth bring their business ideas to life. The program attracted more than 550 students in 2009.
